Sizzling Beef in Special Sauce or Beef Salpicao

When I cook Salpicao, I always substitute chicken for the beef as my dad is not allowed to eat beef. I usually use chicken thigh fillets without the skin and then cut them into cubes.

For the sauce, I just combine worcestershire sauce and Knorr liquid seasoning with a bit of sugar. Then I would cook the dish with lots and lots of minced garlic and pepper! It's an easy and yummy dish! :)

Yesterday, during our Star Margarine Cooking Demo in our office, we were taught this recipe that seems very similar to my Chicken Salpicao, but with one additional ingredient that made the dish tastier... The pepper steak sauce!

The Choosers

Choosers- a term I coined for people who think they have the coolness, looks, popularity, over-all package to reject other people and they only want to be associated with people that they think can match their "coolness factor".

Who are these people?

a. They wouldn't reply to your invitations, even if it's just a simple 'yes' or 'no', claiming to be 'busy'... when you see them after a few days hanging out at a cafe with other people that they met from who-knows-where. If they have time just to "chill" and hang-out, definitely, they should have time to reply with a simple one-word 'yes' or 'no', right? Again, joining and replying are two different things. Just because you have no plans to join something doesn't mean that your bad behavior of not replying is excusable!

Bad Romance- Glee "Girls" :)

I'm a gleek! I have the Glee Soundtracks from Volume 1 to Volume 3 and I must say that I am very impressed with their Volume 3 CD. I've loved the songs way back from Volume 1 but I was delighted with the maturity and growth of the cast in terms of singing in the 3rd Volume! Songs by Lady Gaga, Steve Tyler and U2 that I believe would have been difficult to tackle for them previously are included in this album. I am getting addicted to their rendition of Bad Romance by Lady Gaga! I love the upbeat melody and how they got the 'attitude' required for such a song perfectly. Applause applause!
